About this project

Pioneer School’s first-grade students were able to make pained rocks of encouragement to their reading buddies preparing for SBAC testing.

Each painted rock became a personalized gift, a tangible reminder to their reading buddies that they are not alone in their academic journey. These small gestures of support carry immense significance, serving as a source of inspiration and motivation during the challenging testing period.

Through this simple yet profound act of kindness, Pioneer School’s first graders exemplified the spirit of empathy and solidarity, showing that even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference in supporting one another through challenges.
